The Quiet Epidemic

The Quiet Epidemic is a project I've been following for the past few months since the documentary came on my radar, and I am so excited to see the final product once it's released closer to home. I briefly attended college with Lindsay Keys back at Alfred and am so excited to see such a positive reaction from those who've already been able to see it; the response online has been awesome to see, as well as the buzz it's been receiving across the board. Especially in the current healthcare climate, films and topics such as these are so important to continue to recognize and bring to the forefront.

Film will be the death of me...

...or would that just be the end of the year?

I've been pondering a few things as the second longest year in memory is coming to a close that I'll be writing about in a few days, but in the meantime, I'm finally getting through my backlog of film. Not counting the three rolls of unprocessed film that are currently staring me in the face as I write this, but I've been editing and have posted some of my favorites in the Film gallery. I'm hoping to have some additional shots added in before end of year (and maybe even some digital shots, too, hope springs eternal), but my continuing story of starting lots of smaller projects from last year continues into the present.

More Updates on "Home"...

Isn't it pretty? I made up a new promo for the "Home" exhibition yesterday for my Instagram feed featuring the three pieces of mine in the show, and I've also got some more information regarding the opening tonight as well!

For anyone in the area, parking off South Warren Street (which is usually reserved for Berkeley College students) will be open to anyone coming to the opening, so be sure to park there instead of trying for on street parking. There's over twenty artists also featured tonight, with a diverse range of work, so please try and stop by if you can!!!

Family Business gets an awesome review from The Examiner!

I haven't been talking about Family Business, a movie written/directed by my friend Dan Slottje (a.k.a. The Upstate Kid) and produced by my other friend Patrick Phelan, which is a really stupid thing on my part. But, they have this awesome film they're working on, and they just had a really nice piece written about the film in The Examiner, so please check it out.

If you want more info, please check out the film's Facebook page. They update everything all the time, and the finished project is going to be amazing. Congrats, guys!
