Parting Stone

So excited for my friend Justin Crowe and his new venture, Parting Stone - be sure to check them out!

After 3 years of research into death and dying, I am so excited to announce a fascinating technology we developed with Los Alamos National Laboratory. Cremated remains can feel messy, gross, and meaningless. People don't know what to do with them. I thought this relationship with one of our most treasured possessions was sad. We developed a new form of human remains called solidified remains. Instead of receiving a box of ashes following cremation, you can now recieve a collection of stones. The solidification process returns the full amount of remains in a solid and clean form. Receiving stones allows people to feel connection with remains. Check out our full story in the video below and if you like it, please share and help spread the word! https://partingstone.com/

Thank you so so much to everyone who has supported me in this endeavor. The Parting Stone team is phenomenal, our advisors, investors, LANL support, retail partners, friends, family... I have felt incredibly supported and am forever grateful.

Justin Crowe at Clay Gulgong 2018

So proud of my old friend Justin Crowe for this awesome talk at Clay Gulgong 2018. The ceramics festival (which was held from April 15-21st of this year) had Justin traveling down under talking about his work within the world of ceramics. Definitely worth taking a listen to!

Another day, another Justin Crowe kickstarter...

I'm so excited to announce that my good friend Justin Crowe has another awesome Kickstarter running for a really fun, intelligent, and (dare I say it) sexy new project he's created. After the success of his Meme the World campaign last year (check it out here and here), I'm so excited to spread the word about... Paul.

Let's face it - this is one of the best and most interesting physical blending/merge of both art and social media that's out there currently, and that doesn't even encompass Paul's amazing ability to turn something as mundane and ordinary as a smartphone charger into an instant conversation piece. The Kickstarter runs until the 22nd of the month, so be sure you're a part of Paul's entrance into the world!

Good Things at the Red Lodge Clay Center

As Winter Storm Hercules is giving me time to update things (yay!), I figured I would pop in quick and announce this wonderful show on behalf of my dear friend Justin Crowe, who is now all out in the west coast desert, as it is.

Anyhoo, Justin's involved in this pretty cool show set up by Armando Ramos (and featuring Debbie Kupinsky and Craig Clifford, too) that from all of the photos I've seen so far, looks amazing. The show is open at the Red Lodge Clay Center in Red Lodge, Montana from January 3rd-31st (with the artist reception tomorrow from 5-7pm/artist talk at 6pm).

Hours for the Center are Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-6pm, Sunday, 12pm-4pm; their featured artist this month is Tyler Gulden, so check out his work too! So basically, if you're anywhere near Montana and want to see some cool art in the month of January, go see the show!

And in other news - the arty tumblr has been updated! More news on updates tomorrow, as it seems I'm finally sweeping out all of the inconvenient dust that this last year has brought to my mind.
